Comics in the Middle of Nowhere: From Edition #1 to 2026
In June 2024, the very first edition of Comics in the Middle of Nowhere took place. What started as an experiment immediately proved there was room for a different kind of comic event. Great weather, an open outdoor setting and a strong turnout of comic fans turned the day into something special.
A Collector-Driven Event
Edition #1 featured a lot private sellers, all bringing parts of their own collections. Long-held books, upgrades, duplicates, special editions and unexpected finds filled the tables. Because collectors were selling, the selection felt personal and varied — not like a standard shop lineup.
Trading was lively throughout the day, but never rushed. Sellers and visitors had the time to talk, browse and exchange stories. That interaction is exactly what defines Comics in the Middle of Nowhere.
Why Visitors Loved It
We received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from visitors. Many told us they found more comics here than at a typical Comic-Con, but without the crowds, noise or pressure.
Instead, there was space to look closely, ask questions, negotiate and discover comics you don’t often see in regular comic shops.
Powered by the Community
The sellers played a crucial role in the success of the first edition. Without their collections, trust and enthusiasm, this event would not exist. This is, and will remain, a community-first, collector-driven event.

Looking Ahead: June 14, 2026
After the success of the first edition, we’re proud to confirm that Comics in the Middle of Nowhere returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The concept stays the same: free entry, focused on private collectors, with room for browsing, trading, talking and discovering comics you don’t often find elsewhere.
