The Comic Live Show is Shortbox Comics’ weekly live show where comics come first. Not just what’s hot, but why it matters for readers and collectors.
What started in 2018 as a simple live sale has grown into a community-driven show built on conversation, knowledge and a lot of fun along the way.
What is the Comic Live Show?
A relaxed, content-focused live broadcast where we take time to talk about comics without pressure. You can watch, listen, join the chat or just tune in for the parts that interest you.
We discuss:
- new comic series and first impressions
- what makes an issue interesting to read or collect
- comic facts, background and collector insights
No rush, no pressure
To keep the show calm and enjoyable, the comics we talk about are made available earlier via WhatsApp in our Claim Club. That way, claims can be made before, during or after the show.
The live show itself focuses on:
- explanation instead of urgency
- context instead of hype
- conversation instead of countdowns

Over the years, the Comic Live Show has been shaped by its audience. Different opinions are welcome. Not every comic is for everyone — and that’s part of the fun.
We don’t try to convince you to buy everything. We simply help you decide what fits you best, while having fun together through quizzes, discussions and strong comic content.
