Return & Cancellation Policy
At Shortbox Comics, we take great care in packing and shipping collectible comic books. If you wish to return or cancel an order, the following policy applies.
Right of Withdrawal
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order, without giving any reason.

Returning Your Order
Once your return request has been approved, you have 14 additional days to return the items.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as you remain responsible for the return shipment until it has been delivered to us.
Condition of Returned Items
Comic books are collectible products whose value depends heavily on their condition.
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
- Items must be properly protected during return shipping.
- Any included accessories or promotional items must be returned as well.
You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store. If the comic has been read, damaged, bent, folded, written on, improperly stored, or otherwise handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may deduct an amount from your refund that reflects the actual loss in value, as permitted under applicable consumer law.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 14 days.
If no loss in value has occurred, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, including the original standard shipping costs where required by law.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled through your customer account before the order has been fulfilled.
Once an order has been shipped, the statutory right of withdrawal described above applies.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery by submitting a request through your customer account or by emailing lord@shortboxcomics.nl.
Please include your order number together with clear photographs of the issue so we can resolve it quickly.
