Stel je voor: gras onder je voeten, dozen vol comics om doorheen te bladeren, een bandje op de achtergrond en verzamelaars die net zo enthousiast zijn als jij.
Welkom bij Comics in the Middle of Nowhere. Een outdoor comic festival waar alles draait om ontdekken, struinen en onverwachte vondsten. Na een succesvolle eerste editie in 2024 zijn we terug op zondag 14 juni 2026, en dit keer pakken we het nog groter en beter aan.
Of je nu een doorgewinterde verzamelaar bent of gewoon nieuwsgierig komt kijken, dit is een plek waar je vanzelf blijft hangen. Je vindt hier duizenden comics van particuliere verkopers, unieke selecties van shops en dealers en vooral een relaxte sfeer waar de community centraal staat. Geen haast, geen overvolle hal, maar gewoon de tijd nemen om te zoeken, te praten en te genieten.
Artist Clubhouse
Naast het aanbod aan comics is er dit jaar ook ruimte voor de makers zelf. In de Artist Clubhouse ontmoet je acht comic tekenaars, schrijvers en creators die hun werk laten zien en graag met je in gesprek gaan. Dit is dé plek waar je een kijkje krijgt achter de schermen van het maken van comics, rechtstreeks van de mensen die ze creëren.
Sfeer en entertainment
Een festival draait om meer dan alleen wat er op tafel ligt. Het gaat om de sfeer, de energie en het gevoel dat er altijd iets gebeurt. Terwijl je rondloopt, zorgt een live band voor de juiste vibe en kom je vanzelf terecht bij live veilingen met unieke items die je nergens anders tegenkomt.
Tussendoor zijn er interviews met makers en gasten, midden in het moment. Geen strak programma, maar een dag die leeft. Een dag waarop je blijft hangen, steeds weer iets nieuws ontdekt en misschien wel langer blijft dan je van plan was.

De entreetickets zijn vanaf nu online verkrijgbaar. Met een Early Bird ticket krijg je niet alleen toegang tot het festival, maar ook een goodiebag t.w.v. €20, toegang tot de Artist Clubhouse en gratis parkeren.

Comics from the Trunk
Wil je liever comics verkopen én het festival beleven? Kom dan jouw comics verkopen op het Comics from the Trunk veld en maak van je kofferbak je eigen mini comic shop.
Je staat midden tussen andere verzamelaars, praat over comics, maakt connecties en verkoopt direct aan mensen die precies snappen wat je aanbiedt. Dé plek om je dubbele issues, upgrades en verborgen parels een nieuw thuis te geven. Toegang tot het festival is inbegrepen bij je plek.

Welcome to Comics in the Middle of Nowhere. An outdoor comic festival built around discovery, browsing and unexpected finds. After a successful first edition in 2024, we return on Sunday, June 14, 2026, and this time we are making it even bigger and better.
Whether you are a seasoned collector or just curious, this is the kind of place where you naturally want to stay. You will find thousands of comics from private sellers, unique selections from shops and dealers and, above all, a relaxed atmosphere where the community comes first. No rush, no packed halls, just the time to search, talk and enjoy.
Artist Clubhouse
Alongside the comics, there is also room this year for the creators themselves. In the Artist Clubhouse you will meet eight comic artists, writers and creators who will showcase their work and be happy to talk with you. This is the place to get a behind the scenes look at how comics are made, directly from the people who create them.
Atmosphere and entertainment
A festival is about more than what is on the tables. It is about atmosphere, energy and that feeling that something is always happening. As you walk around, a live band sets the right vibe and you will naturally end up at live auctions with unique items you will not come across anywhere else.
There will also be interviews with creators and guests throughout the day, right in the middle of the action. No rigid schedule, just a living, breathing day full of discovery. The kind of day where you stay longer than you planned because there is always something new to see.

You will be right in the middle of fellow collectors, talking comics, making connections and selling directly to people who truly understand what you are offering. It is the perfect place to give your duplicate issues, upgrades and hidden gems a new home. Festival access is included with your spot.
